Platform Engineer
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and Amazon EKS to support large-scale enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, integrating, scaling, securing, and optimizing cloud-native environments across multiple Kubernetes clusters and enterprise platforms.This role requires strong hands-on experience with environment provisioning, infrastructure automation, cluster governance, CI/CD modernization, and enterprise integration practices. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to standardize platform operations, improve delivery pipelines, and build scalable self-service infrastructure capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage Kubernetes/EKS environments across multiple enterprise clustersPerform environment provisioning, resource scaling, and cluster lifecycle managementManage and execute platform upgrades including Kubernetes, MuleSoft, Java, AMIs, and ElasticSearchImplement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and maintain centralized configuration managementEstablish governance, security controls, and access management across environmentsOptimize cloud infrastructure costs and improve operational efficiencyModernize CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and developer toolchainsBuild self-service infrastructure and platform automation capabilitiesConduct enterprise system integration, data migration, and infrastructure implementation activitiesCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure platform stability and scalabilitySupport troubleshooting, benchmarking, and gap analysis activitiesRequired SkillsExpert-level experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKSStrong cloud infrastructure engineering backgroundHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)Experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters in enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of cluster governance, security, and access controlExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automationKnowledge of MuleSoft, Java 21, ElasticSearch, and AMI managementExperience with container orchestration and cloud-native technologiesStrong troubleshooting and operational support experienceExperience with infrastructure scaling and performance optimizationPreferred QualificationsExperience building self-service platform engineering capabilitiesStrong scripting and automation skillsExperience with enterprise integration and migration initiativesKnowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps practicesStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work in fast-paced enterprise environments
