Reliability Engineer
Overview
As a Reliability Engineer, you define and drive design assurance to meet quality and performance expectations for our premium refrigeration line. You’ll join cross-functional teams to analyze risks, plan verification tests, and drive reliability improvements using warranty and service data. Your work shapes product robustness and reduces field costs through systematic problem solving. ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive reliability requirements across the product life cycleCollaborate with cross-functional teams on risk analyses and verification testingDevelop and execute reliability improvement plans using warranty/service dataIntegrate reliability analyses into design objectivesPerform effective FMEA and generate test plans with lab supportAnalyze failure data, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsCoordinate with service, purchasing, suppliers, quality, and manufacturing to improve reliability
Key requirementsExperience with National Instruments LabVIEWExperience with reliability methodologies and test design/experiments (including DoE)Experience with field failure/warranty data analysisStatistics and reliability analysis techniques (Weibull, RBDs, FMEAs, Derating, Reliability Allocation)2+ years of related Engineering experience in design/reliability/qualityASQ CRE or willingness to certifyExperience in appliance or mass-produced consumer productsCross-functional collaborationProblem solvingAnalytical thinkingNational Instruments LabVIEWFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)Weibull analysis
