Advertising Account Executive

OverviewJoin Metro's Multi-Media Advertising Sales Team. We're seeking dynamic, creative and energetic media sales representatives to represent a line of digital marketing products and local publications in Silicon Valley and throughout the Bay Area that influence where people shop, find entertainment and spend their leisure time. You'll help local and regional businesses gain new customers while making a difference in local communities by supporting local news and journalism.Successful candidates are career-minded and outgoing people who bring great ideas to a wide variety of retailers and business professionals. And help businesses build market share to active consumers using multi-media marketing solutions. Candidates must be energetic, creative and eager to seek new business.Applicants should have excellent customer service skills, basic understanding of marketing principles, strong written and verbal skills in addition to a positive attitude. Reliable transportation is required.ResponsibilitiesOutside sales presentations, face-to-face consultations and video conferences with key decision makersAbility to work with local clients to learn objectives and opportunitiesProspecting local markets to continuously fill sales pipeline and open new accountsFearless cold-calling and lead generationSale of print and digital marketing solutions including Metro, newsletters, multiple websites, email and SEMOversight of client campaigns and regular communication of performance resultsMeeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goalsMaintaining client data base, account information, scheduling of appointments, prospecting calls and next steps in sales processBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, paid time off, health benefits, HSA, FSA and 401k.
