**Overview** We are seeking a friendly and experienced Server to join our team at a our new Mother Bear's Pizza restaurant in Columbus, IN. As a key member of our service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional dining experience. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality, we would love to hear from you. **Duties** - Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive first impression. - Take orders from guests, providing menu recommendations and answering questions as needed. - Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner. - Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, floors, and restrooms. - Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. - Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests leave the restaurant feeling satisfied. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service. - Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and allergens. - Adhere to food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and healthy dining environment. - Participate in ongoing training to improve knowledge of menu items and customer service techniques. **Skills** - Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment. - Excellent customer service skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures. - Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems. - Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages. - Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
