Electrical Engineer

Job Description: Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience designing medical devices to join their Medical Device client out of Duluth, GA. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced engineering team to design an orthopedic medical device. You will focus on the design, creation, and testing of a single medical device throughout a multi-year life cycle. Ideal candidates will have experience in the medical device industry, with a strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements specific to surgical and medical devices.

5+ years of experience within the medical device industry. Extensive knowledge of Electrical safety standards for equipment used in orthopedics. Strong understanding of IEC 60601, and ISO 14971 standards. Strong understanding of Solid works or similar design software. Knowledgeable about ISO 13485 requirements. Ability to relocate to, or travel to Duluth GA to work M-F. 5+ years of experience with handheld medical device design.
