A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Stepdown/n/nJob Details:/n• Work 3x12 hour shifts with day/night rotating schedule: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM/7:00 AM-7:30 PM/n• Float pool unit with potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED to care for same patient population/n• Must have 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel/n• Must have 18 months of recent Stepdown experience (travel experience will suffice)/n• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred but not required/n• Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand/n• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS/n• Must work at least every other holiday/n• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation with acceptable scores required/n• Use Qualivis Lotus system for submitting hours worked/n• Must complete pre-start modules averaging 6-15 hours/n• Complete badge pickup and onsite fingerprints prior to start date/n• Background checks reviewed but no open cases accepted/n• No license hits accepted/n/nFacility:/nThis major academic medical center operates a comprehensive stepdown float pool unit that provides intermediate care for patients requiring more intensive monitoring than general medical floors but less than intensive care.
