Lead Technician for Drywall

The Patch Boys of Southern Milwaukee and Brookfield is looking to add a full-time multi-skilled lead drywall repair technician. We are a well-established and expert Drywall Repair Company.Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced drywall repair, patching, and finishing technician to perform drywall repair, and also manage the activities of a team of existing technicians.ResponsibilitiesManage the schedules and work output of multiple techniciansCommunicate effectively with the technicians to provide clear guidanceRespond quickly and positively to management and customersAbility to texture and refinish plaster servicesAbility and willingness to work on new walls and ceilings, and repair existing walls.Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues and present a description of a work order to a customer.Fit and fasten wallboard or sheetrock into specified positionMeasure and mark cutting lines on framing, drywall, and trimInstall insulation in-between studs and attach plastic moisture barrier over installationRemove plaster, drywall or panelingUse basic mobile technology tools such as Gmail, text messaging, and company-provided CRM application (training provided for CRM)QualificationsAbility to communicate effectively and lead others by exampleMust own a smartphone with a data planBasic knowledge of mobile technology such as Gmail, text messagingMust own all tools needed for drywall repairVehicle in good running condition is requiredTask-OrientedAbility to organize and maintain a weekly work scheduleLeadership - supervise and train other techniciansTakes pride in his work and that of othersEager to learn and improve every dayBe a positive force and a team playerCan balance production and qualityProfessional customer service skillsCommunication skillsMake correct decisions in a timely mannerMaintain a neat appearanceCompensation: $17.00 - $36.00 per hourChoose a Rewarding Career with the Patch BoysThe Patch Boys is America’s Most Trusted Drywall Repair Company, serving customers across the nation.
