Provides directcare support to our members with disabilities by assisting withactivities of daily living; bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene asoutlined by the individual service plan. Be comfortable using mobilitydevices and practice safe transfer and ambulation techniques like inassisted living facilities. Teaches and Guides members in achievinghopes, dreams, goals and objectives through self-direction, decisionmaking, and goal setting. Completes all applicable documentation relatedto tasks assigned. Welcoming Home. Maintains a safe, sanitary andwelcoming group home by performing housekeeping (vacuuming, emptyingtrash, cleaning bathroom, dusting, bed making and changing linens); andlaundry. Prepares and Serves Meals by following general nutritionalguidelines, menus, individual dietary restrictions, needs andpreferences to ensure consumer health. Community Activities. Assists,escorts, and provides physical and other types of assistance needed bymembers during social and recreational activities.
