Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description:Position: Supplier Quality engineerLocation: San Jose, CA (Onsite)Hire Type: FulltimeRequirement:BS degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering or equivalent through experience3- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in Compute system/ Server/Consumer Electronics /Hardware manufacturing.Working experience with Contract Manufacturers (CM) and PDP build phases.Experience with manufacturing Quality audits, Quality KPIs management.5+ years of experience with problem solving methodologies (Ishikawa, FMEA, SCAR, 5 Why, 8D, Pareto, MIL…) and Root Cause Failure Analysis, Fault Isolation of complex hardware systemsExperience with ESD standards (ANSI S20.20), ISO9001 certification, Quality Management System process compliance.Experience with cross-functional collaboration on defining quality SOPs, PCNs, Work Instructions etc.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations and engineering), representing the Quality function.ASQ CQE certification, Six Sigma preferred.Basic Project Management skills required.Proficiency with Office tools and common data analysis tools (JMP, R, Excel,...).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English); ability to concisely report to cross-functional team and management.Understand TS1 to MP (Proto to Mass production understanding the flow)SCAR and 5Why Structure problem solvingAble to Present data in a PPT
