Payroll Manager

A leading global venture capital and investment platform is seeking a Global Head of Payroll to own end-to-end U.S. and international payroll operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with responsibility for execution today while driving transformation across global payroll systems, processes, and structure. Job Description:Own end-to-end U.S. payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution across all cyclesManage international payroll across multiple jurisdictions in coordination with external vendors and in-country providersOversee payroll reconciliations, tax compliance, and general ledger alignment in partnership with FinanceSupport audits, year-end processes, and payroll reporting requirementsDrive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalabilityManage payroll vendors and support global payroll expansion and transformation initiativesPartner cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, Legal, and HR on all payroll and compliance mattersIn Office Policy: 3x a week in NYCTotal Comp Range: $150K - $200K (inclusive of bonus)Requirements / Qualifications:8+ years of payroll or global mobility tax experienceMust have international experience (payroll or global mobility)CPA, CPP, CFA, or partial designation preferred
