Radar Systems Architect
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Sensor Systems Architect to support architecture, design, concept of operations, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The role will be based at the Moorestown, NJ and Syracuse, NY sites.
Responsibilities
Perform concept of operations design, radar behavior definition, and associated requirements development to drive radar capability implementation across radar subsystems.
Conduct trade studies and analyze radar system‑level performance impacts to support and evaluate design decisions.
Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multi-disciplinary teams on significant technical matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in system analysis, architecture, requirements development, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test.
High proficiency in C++, MATLAB, or Python.
Radar systems development experience including signal processing, antenna patterns, detection/tracking/discrimination algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling & simulation.
Knowledge of Anti‑Aircraft Warfare concepts and Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher.
Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret/Advanced clearance.
