Self Pay Collections Representative

System One is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Self-Pay Collections Representative to join a reputable medical facility in Tulsa, OK. This role is responsible for managing self-pay patient accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances, and maintaining positive relationships with patients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling financial conversations while providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Review and manage self-pay patient account balancesContact patients via phone, email, and mail regarding outstanding balancesCollect payments and negotiate payment arrangements in accordance with company policiesEscalate delinquent accounts to collections when appropriateAccurately update patient account information and payment activity in the systemRespond to patient inquiries and clearly explain billing details and processesCollaborate with billing and customer service teams to resolve discrepanciesQualifications:Previous experience in medical billing or collections (self-pay experience preferred)Strong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyProficiency with billing systems and Microsoft OfficeCompensation:$17.00 - $19.00 per hourContract to hire opportunitySystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
