Our work environment includes: Growth opportunities Wellness programs Duties: Routine scheduled maintenance Vehicle inspections Diagnosis and repair of engines, transmissions, steering systems, braking systems, suspension systems, A/C systems, electrical systems, etc. Complete repairs correctly and efficiently, passing all quality standards set forth by the dealership Adhere and comply to all company safety policies and procedures Effectively communicate with Parts Department, Service Advisors and Dispatch regarding status of repair orders Maintain a clean, safe and productive work area and follow proper disposal protocols for waste products Timely completion of Ford service certifications and continuing education courses as directed by service management Experience: MUST HAVE at least 5 years of verifiable automotive technician/mechanic experience in an automotive dealership or automotive service industry business Candidates must possess a sufficient range or personally-owned automotive repair tools in good working condition Working knowledge of a wide range of automotive repair shop equipment, such as tire and wheel equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, A/C recovery and charging equipment, etc. Professional appearance Team attitude, charismatic and must work well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Exceptional verbal, written and in-person communication skills Strong references Excellent work ethic, punctual and “do it right the first time” attitude Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test Valid driver's license with exceptional driving record If you are a skilled automotive technician with experience, we want to hear from you.
