A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:\nRN - Med Surg Tele\n\nJob Details:\n• Work night shifts 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM\n• Weekend coverage required, likely every other weekend\n• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days/weekends, 6 patients during nights\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC only)\n• EPIC charting experience required\n• NIHSS certification required\n• Previous charge experience preferred\n• Will float to all medical surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation\n• Care for adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic cases, COPD, and sepsis\n• Manage stable open heart surgery patients transferred from ICU (typically day 4-5 post-op)\n• Work with peritoneal dialysis patients and stroke patients\n• Handle joint replacements, observation, and fast turnaround cases\n• One day of orientation provided before taking full assignments\n• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility\n• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed\n• No license hits accepted\n• 5-6 hours of billable modules must be completed pre-start\n\nFacility:\nThis healthcare facility is a full-service hospital providing comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community.
