Cafe Shift Lead

**This location is inside Discovery Place Charlotte** The Shift Supervisor ensures each guest has an aMAIZing Bean Sprouts experience and helps create a positive, engaging work environment. Supports the AGM, and assists with shift supervision, providing direction to the team. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to Bean Sprouts café's recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards. Provide direction to team members. Follow and communicate Bean Sprouts policies, practices, and standards, and ensure that standard operating procedures are followed at all times. Assist with new hire training, orientation and certification, and ongoing training and development. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred. ServSafe or equivalent food handlers permit (if you don't have a current permit, we will help you get one). The physical requirements for this position are bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and being able to stand for 4 to 8 hours with or without accommodation. Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
