Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.No C2C or third-party applicants.Role: Offshore Construction PlannerLocation: Houston, TX – OnsiteDuration: 12+ Months ContractExpected Assignment: Through at least November 2027Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Planner to support a major offshore construction project in Houston. This role will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project leadership to develop and manage detailed construction schedules, track progress, identify potential delays, and develop recovery plans to keep the project on schedule and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage detailed project schedules, timelines, and resource plans.Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to build step-by-step execution schedules.Develop activity relationships, constraints, vessel work-fronts, and execution sequences.Track daily/weekly construction progress and provide schedule updates to project leadership.Identify potential delays, bottlenecks, vessel standby, and schedule risks before they impact the project.Develop recovery plans and alternate execution scenarios to minimize schedule and cost impacts.Evaluate schedule alternatives based on cost, risk, and in-service date (ISD) considerations.Participate in regular schedule reviews with project teams, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.Provide clear schedule updates, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.Break complex offshore construction activities into logical and executable work packages.Must-Have Qualifications:10+ years of offshore construction planning/scheduling experience.Hands-on experience with Primavera P6; MS Project experience is acceptable as a secondary tool.Proven experience developing and managing detailed construction schedules.Direct experience working with offshore construction contractors and subcontractors.Experience tracking live project progress and implementing corrective/recovery actions.Offshore project experience involving one or more of:PipelayInfield developmentDivingDredgingTrenching
