Cable Crew Inc. specializes in installing state-of-the-art low-voltage infrastructure as well as sound masking and meeting room technology. We are a family-owned business since 2001 and have provided services to organizations statewide as well as in surrounding states. We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of cables and network infrastructure. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise in network installation. On-the-job training is provided to help you succeed in this role.
You will be required to work onsite at client locations. The typical hours for this role in a full-time position can range from 40to 50 hours a week, up to eight (8) hours a day, Monday through Friday. Overtime pay is provided after 40 hours.
Pay – $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
Install and terminate cables, including Ethernet and low voltage cables
Perform cable testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Maintain accurate documentation of cable installations and repairs
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights/in confined spaces
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Experience
Proven experience as a Cable Technician or similar role
Familiarity with network installation and computer networking concepts
Proficiency in cabling techniques, including routing, terminating, and testing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
Requirements
