Junior DevOps Engineer | Linux | Leading Academic Organization | JerusalemA leading academic organization in Jerusalem is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with a strong Linux and infrastructure orientation to join a diverse enterprise technology environment.This is a great opportunity for candidates with 1–2 years of DevOps experience who want to deepen their hands-on expertise across Linux Infrastructure, Networking, Security, and Cloud technologies.What You'll DoWork hands-on with Linux servers across Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, and SUSE environments Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems Work with Apache and Nginx web servers Configure Linux networking and security Support Linux system hardening using technologies such as SELinux, AppArmor, and Nftables Troubleshoot issues across Systems, Networking, Applications, and Security Work with network solutions including Load Balancers and VPN Integrate commercial and Open Source solutions into enterprise environments Work across a diverse range of enterprise infrastructure technologies Gain exposure to AWS and Cloud infrastructure What We're Looking For1–2 years of experience in DevOps and/or Linux System Administration – required Hands-on experience working with Linux environments Familiarity with Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, and/or SUSE Familiarity with Apache and/or Nginx Good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Familiarity with Linux security and system-hardening concepts Full high school matriculation certificate – required AdvantagesExperience with SELinux, AppArmor, or Nftables Experience with Load Balancers and VPN solutions Experience with AWS / VPC Experience with F5 Experience with SQL, Directory Services, or mail systems Experience implementing Open Source solutions Degree in Computer Science or practical engineering studies in Software/Hardware 📍 Jerusalem | Full-time
