Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray preparation, and basic life support techniques.
Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and proper stock of supplies for outpatient and inpatient visits.
Support patient care activities by collecting medical histories, performing initial assessments, and documenting findings with precise medical terminology.
Manage administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, ICD coding for diagnoses, and updating patient records efficiently.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various specialties like dermatology, internal medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), PICU (Pediatric ICU), and Level I/II trauma centers to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
Proven experience or training in clinical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency departments.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and basic pharmacology relevant to diverse medical environments.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as X-ray operation or medication administration are a plus.
Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding processes to accurately document patient encounters.
Experience working in hospital environments including Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable.
Ability to perform multiple clinical tasks efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient service.

Pay: $21.96 - $26.45 per hour
