We are seeking a dedicated Medical Oncologist for a 240-day assignment in Kentucky, starting Aug 2, 2027. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with options for full-time or a minimum of three days per week. The Physician will manage a patient load of approximately 15 per day, including 1-3 inpatients, focusing on a 60% hematology and 40% oncology mix, providing comprehensive care from diagnosis to treatment plan development and management of various therapies. Responsibilities and Duties Manage an average of 15 patients per day, including 1-3 inpatients. Maintain a patient mix of approximately 60% hematology and 40% oncology. Provide coverage Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with options for full-time or a minimum of three days per week. Conduct typical consults and follow-up appointments. Ensure strong communication with patients and their families. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from hematological disorders and cancers. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. Monitor patient response to treatment and manage side effects. Adjust care plans as necessary based on patient progress. Perform and interpret diagnostic testing.
