Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionThe Student Services Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative expertise and event management to support the daily operations of the Center for Academic and Professional Achievement (CAPA), which brings together NECO’s Student Affairs, Student Life, and Academic Success. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Director of CAPA and provides administrative support to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs.As the central point of contact, this role balances front-line student support with back-end operational logistics, including data tracking, event scheduling, and team coordination. This position requires strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, excellent communication, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, team-based environment.The salary for this position starts at $50,000. This is a hybrid position: 3 days on campus and 2 days remote; however, this can fluctuate depending on the time of year. Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesStudent Services Operations Serve as a welcoming first point of contact and trusted resource, providing support during walk-ins or inquiries, and effectively guiding students to the appropriate person or departmentOversee the management of the student transportation program and collaborate with the Business Office to ensure timely ordering and delivery of passesSupport the student health insurance program by managing annual and qualifying event enrollments, coordinating with the Business Office, and answering student questionsProvide local housing resources for incoming and current students and assist with the annual accepted students day event. Track and manage student immunization compliance documentationManage CAPA’s website and student portal content and update and create as necessaryOffice Operations Serve as the primary, front-facing representative of CAPA by welcoming visitors, assisting students, and responding to inquiries in a professional and timely mannerSupport leadership with enrollment-related logistics, data integrity, and special operational projects as neededCoordinate logistics, manage scheduling, and take official meeting minutes for the Student Life CommitteeManage daily office functions, monitor the department's general inbox, and coordinate office supplies, mail, and facility requestsPerform other projects and duties as assigned by leadership to support overall CAPA operationsAcademic Services Support Provide administrative support to the Clinical and Didactic Tutoring program, including hiring peer tutors and matching studentsOversee the student Notetaker program, including hiring student workers and publishing notes to the Student PortalSupport exam proctoring logistics for students requiring approved ADA accommodationsEvents and Career ServicesServe on planning committees for major institutional traditions, including New Student Orientation, Commencement, and the White Coat Ceremony, taking full ownership of assigned operational logistics from prep through day-of execution Coordinate logistics for career services events, including recruiter visits, professional development workshops, and large-scale career fairsProvide additional operational and administrative support for departmental events as requested by leadershipRequirementsA Bachelor's degree is required.
