About the JobJoin a Fun, Professional, and Collaborative Team!Job Description:The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA's) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients;The SLPA will be empowered to build their schedule with a Supervisor, and maintain it consistently;The SLPA will be given the tools (software/program) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason;Some traveling can be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas;The SLPA will meet with their Supervisor at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.Education/Certificates:B.S. in Communications Disorders , or a similar degree;License from the State of Florida.Skills:English speaking;Bilingual ( English , Spanish, French Creole );Computer literacy;Smartphone literacy.Required Work Experience:At least 1 year working with children.Responsibilities:Employ therapy proficiently;Maintain a consistent roster of patients;Organize your own schedule;Use the software and programs provided;Work with parents/guardians of the patient.
