This role may be filled at the Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant level, based on qualifications and relevant accounting experience. If you are ready to be part of a collaborative and supportive team, which fosters an atmosphere where everyone’s contributions are valued, we encourage you to apply today.Position FunctionsTrack and Reconcile Cash Deposits: Monitor and reconcile cash deposits across multiple subsidiary companiesExecute Claim Payment Batches: Prepare and process claim payments efficientlyHandle Complex Journal Entries: Create detailed and accurate journal entriesMaintain Security General Ledger Accounts: Ensure balanced accounts and perform reconciliations as neededCashflow Management: Assist with collection automation and optimize cashflowImplement Financial Controls: Adhere to company policies and procedures for financial complianceSupport Compliance Efforts: Assist the compliance team with documentation and data requests from security auditorsCollaborate Across Departments: Act as a financial liaison, working closely with various teams within the companyPrioritize Time Management: Deliver high-quality work within contractual deadlinesLeverage Excel Skills: Utilize advanced Excel techniques for efficient daily tasksKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesThis position requires a candidate with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills. Other skills include:Customer service-oriented mindsetEffective communication skills (both verbal and written)Highly proficiency in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with basic accounting procedures and GAAP principlesBasic knowledge of financial account statementsOther RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or related business degree.Staff Accountant candidates typically have 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience and demonstrate a strong foundation in core accounting principles.Senior Accountant candidates typically have 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with increased responsibility for complex accounting activities, analysis and reporting, and support of month-end and year-end close processes.Physical RequirementsMust be able to sit and work quietly for extended periods of time, operate a computer, and answer and communicate on a telephone.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone Working ConditionsBusiness-casual fast paced multi-tasking office environment.Hours of OperationsThis position supports our marketing efforts internationally. This position's work hours are Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm, in a hybrid work environment. Our hybrid environment is 3 days within our business-casual office environment. Of these 3 days in the office, Wednesday and Thursday are required, and employees may work from home the other 2 days. Our employees choose their schedule. This position requires occasional flexibility for working additional hours to accomplish project objectives.
