We are building a durable care platform designed to perform in constrained healthcare environments and to lead the shift toward accountable, value-based care.Role Description The Member Acquisition Specialist is a field-based role responsible for converting community outreach and referral opportunities into enrolled Zócalo Health members.This role focuses on direct member engagement, enrollment conversations, same-day registration, and follow-through to care connection. Member Acquisition Specialists are deployed strategically across community partner sites, referral locations, and Zócalo-hosted community events to maximize enrollment outcomes and member conversion.Success in this role is measured by enrollments, registration quality, conversion rates, follow-up execution, and the ability to build trust that results in members connecting to care.This is a highly accountable, performance-driven role for individuals who are comfortable initiating conversations, guiding individuals through enrollment processes, overcoming barriers to care, and working independently in community settings.This position reports to the Market Growth Manager.The Member Acquisition Specialist will contribute in the following ways:Enrollment & ConversionConduct in-person outreach and enrollment conversations with eligible community membersDrive same-day registrations and maximize conversion opportunities in the fieldGuide individuals through registration, intake, and enrollment processesOwn weekly enrollment, registration, and conversion goalsMaintain disciplined follow-up to move referrals and leads into enrolled membersIdentify and escalate barriers preventing enrollment or engagementSupport member retention and re-engagement efforts when appropriateField Execution & Community PresenceExecute enrollment activities at assigned partner sites, community locations, and outreach eventsRepresent Zócalo Health professionally within community settingsBuild trust quickly and effectively with community membersSupport execution of Zócalo-hosted events designed to generate enrollment opportunitiesMaintain flexibility to work in field-based environments, including evenings and weekends as neededDocumentation & Operational ComplianceAccurately complete registrations, documentation, and enrollment workflows across operational systemsMaintain timely and accurate activity tracking within Athena and other required platformsFollow established operational workflows, SOPs, compliance expectations, and documentation standardsCommunicate operational issues, field insights, and workflow barriers in real timeCollaboration & CommunicationWork closely with Market Growth Managers to support community-based enrollment strategyContribute to a high-performance, enrollment-focused team cultureMaintain strong communication regarding field
