If you want to make a real impact while growing with a supportive team, LockIT is the place for you.*Day to day duties** Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues * Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications * Monitor and maintain computer networks and systems to ensure optimal performance * Collaborate with team members to implement new technology solutions * Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities * Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and user guides * Direct customer interactions while solving trouble tickets both remotely and onsite. * Timekeeping, customer coordination, and customer service.*What you’ll need to succeed** Minimum of Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field, and A+ Certification or the ability to obtain within the first 3 months. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * A love of challenge and variety. * Soft skills are necessary to handle customer interactions and take ownership of their environment. They are not just a number to us and should not be treated as such by you. * Ability to work independently while collaborating with other technical staff, as necessary. We are a team working towards a common goal and treat each other with respect and camaraderie. * Ability to follow internal procedures, document tickets and time daily in our PSA. * Commit to continuous education, certification, and self-improvement. * Adhere to the highest standards regarding confidential customer information. * Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background screening. * Must possess a valid driver’s license.*Our Knowledge Wishlist** Although no experience is required, experience with an MSP/VAR or IT Consulting Firm is preferred * MCSA, MCSE, Active Directory, Office 365 * A+, Net+, Sec+ * SonicWALL CSSA, CSSP * Cisco CCNA * ConnectWise or other PSA * RMM, Powershell Scripting Experience * SonicWALL, FortiGate, or other NextGen Firewalls * VMware and/or Hyper-V * Business Continuity Systems, Datto, Veeam*Work Hours*The typical work schedule is based upon 8-5 M-F, with occasional after-hours work as needed. After-hours work is both scheduled and unscheduled. Primary after-hours work revolves around planned projects such as 365 migrations but could also involve emergency outages. Scheduled after hour work may average 2-3 times a month, and unscheduled tends to average once every couple months. This could fluctuate more during busier periods.*Physical Requirements*Ability to transport and lift items such as servers or battery backups.*Travel Requirements*Frequent local travel required.
