Wire Room Tech - 1st Shift

Job Title: Wireroom Tech Department: Warehouse Shift: 7AM to 4PM Job Summary:_________________________________________________________________ A Wireroom Tech is responsible for wrapping, tying, and placing materials onto the respective reels in the wireroom. A Wireroom Tech should be able to multitask and should work efficiently independently or in a team setting. A current health card is required, and no history of drug or alcohol abuse is allowed. Responsibilities: Wrap, tie, and place materials onto respective reels Short and place materials onto racks Ensure proper technique and procedures are followed in wire-cutting machine areas Ensure wire-cutting machines cut and measure wire correctly Monitor machine controls and ensure wire thickness, pressure, cutting, and striping length is accurate Assist in keeping wire room inventory accurate and stored properly Perform daily housekeeping to warehouse and wirerooms Adhere to safety rules as provided in the Inline Electric Supply Safety Handbook Perform all other duties as assigned by department manager or leadership team Required Skills: Attention to detail Organization skills Able to work independently or in a team setting Problem-solving skills Ability to multitask Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with approved clean driver vehicle report Forklift certification is preferred but not required Provide current health card Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 lbs. or more Ability to climb, crouch, and grasp Ability to listen and speak clearly What We Offer: ??
