Ensures that production has all required materials to do their job.Responsibilities:Process and Ship Finished Goods to Customers:Manage the shipping of finished products to customers in accordance with a shipping schedule. Wrap pallets of finished product and stage for shipping. Ensure pallet/case counts are accurate and match paperwork. Ensure all truck drivers adhere to Meduri Farms Inc. GMPs and Food Safety policies. Ensure all trucks carrying Meduri Farms products for customers meet food safety specifications. Utilize database to process shipments. Cycle Counts:Conduct weekly/monthly cycle counts. Inform Purchasing of any shortages or Order Point Quantities. Sugar Receiving and Distribution:Asses daily sugar requirements for production and deliver sugar as needed. Move large super-stacks or pallets of sugar through warehouse and stack as needed. Ingredients Distribution:Monitor ingredient inventory levels daily for production and replenish as needed. Receiving of Raw Materials/Ingredients/Supplies:Assess daily schedule for products arriving each day. Complete thorough truck and product inspections. Interact with Quality Assurance department to coordinate sampling of raw materials. Unload truckloads of pallets or parcels and check for accuracy and specification. Utilize database to process receipts. Computer Operation:Utilize database with either desktop computer or handheld device to process transactions. Monitor email using Microsoft Outlook. Utilize Crystal Reports and Microsoft Excel to review reports necessary to the operations. Utilize SharePoint for saving and accessing documents. Take photos of shipments/receipts utilizing a digital camera and upload to SharePoint. Forklift Operation:Responsible for the proper execution of daily safety checks on forklifts being utilized. Move product within the warehouse on a forklift for the majority of the day. Load/Unload multiple trucks throughout the day. Move product into production as needed, using "first in, first out" method. Work indoors and outdoors depending on daily logistical requirements. Other duties as assigned by SRS Supervisor or Logistics Manager.Employment Requirements:High school Diploma1+ year experience operating a forklift1+ year experience in a warehouse environment. Basic computer literacy; must be able to pass Basic computer literacy test to be considered for this position. Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus. Strong communication skills; both verbal and written. Must be able to recognize problems, recommend solutions and put the solutions into action. Organization skills with the ability to to prioritize multiple tasks and reporting requirements. Team player attitude and team building experienceThe ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen. Monday-Friday7:30am-4:00pm
