Our Residential Program is recruiting a Food Service Supervisor for our live-in Residential Program for children and adolescents. This position is responsible to provide overall direction, leadership and support to the Food Service Team under the direction and guidance of program leadership. This includes designing and implementing a healthy, nutritious and appealing menu for our children and staff. Duties include providing overall quality assurance of food service operations, oversee the inventory system, plan and prepare the menus and preparation sheets. The supervisor is also responsible for personnel matters including recruitment, training and management of food service staff.
The ideal candidate should possess 1-2 years of experience in a food service field including supervisory and/or management experience. In addition, they should have a current ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification or another State Approved Food Manager Certification. Certification may be obtained within 3 months of employment.
