Urology Nurse Practitioner
1 FTE need 8hr Shifts Clinic M-F Role approved through 12/31/26 Start- ASAP, must have WA license in hand at time of presentation Type- APC/APP (NP is ideal due to work without a supervising physician) - If they are surgical PA, we'd ask them to do some rounding in the hospital and assist w/ Surgeries, if they are not a surgical PA they would just be working in the clinic • Yearly refills • Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction • Kidney stones • Male incontinence • Cystoscopies • Surgical assist Why Open?- Gap in coverage Working at Medical Center and Urology Clinic (1 mile away) Both Hospital and Clinic Privileges Needed Inpatient & Outpatient Setting Bed 122 Demographics- 17+ Avg. Patients per day- 18 Procedures- standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs)- Applicant must provide documentation (case list) of provision of clinical services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. Will provider work solo? If not, other providers specialties working with them- As a PA, they would be working w/ the MD/DO if an NP they would be independent Licensed Candidate: Yes, candidate must have a Washington state license in hand at time of present. Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable)- BLS and ACLS EMR - EPIC
