Loan Processor II - The ColonyJob Summary: Responsible for the preparation, accuracy and completeness of new consumer, non-real estate commercial, and commercial real estate loans; including renewals and modification loan documentation. Provides general administrative support for the loan department and works under general supervision of department manager. Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times within department service standard times. Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals. Essential Job Functions: Prepares documentation for commercial real estate loan renewals and modifications.Prepare documentation for Letters of Credit.Prepare documentation for commercial non-real estate documents while maintaining service level standards.Prepare documentation for consumer loans while maintaining service level standards.Prepare New Vendor Forms for new vendors with invoices due on new loans.Receive high level accuracy on job related functions. Other Job Functions: Clears monthly exceptions as it pertains to loans processed;Provide back up support for other Processes as needed;Other duties as requested by their supervisor or other management representatives of the bank. Job RequirementsQualification Requirements: High School diploma or GED3-5 years banking experience with 2-3 years training and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within loan operations area or 1-2 years processing experienceMust maintain customer confidentiality.Accuracy and attention to detail are essentialAdvanced computer, calculator and typing skillsKnowledge of regulatory, legal, and bank regulationGood oral and written communication skillsAbility to perform under pressure and meet deadlinesMust comply with all bank policies and procedures that are job related and/or consistent with business necessity.Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others.
