Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Develop, test, and deploy prototypes and solutions within Government Cloud Solutions. Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity issues (LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, Firewalls). Monitor and manage scalability parameters in the cloud network infrastructure. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and configuration backups. Implement and maintain Cloud Network solutions, specifically for AWS. Coordinate with developers for smooth application migrations to the Cloud. Utilize Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence) for progress tracking, source control, and documentation. Generate and maintain clear documentation and visual diagrams of network and system layouts.What You'll Need Active Secret Clearance and eligibility to obtain Top-Secret Clearance. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with 2-4 years of experience (or equivalent). Active CompTIA Security+ Certification (DoD 8570 compliance). 1-2 years of practical experience with cloud services (AWS preferred), including Route53, VPCs, and VPNs. Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, IPSec tunnels, and subnetting. Proven ability to troubleshoot network issues in an enterprise environment. Familiarity with security tools such as Palo Alto Firewalls, Tenable ACAS, or Trellix ESS.
