Overview:DatamanUSA is looking for an Assembler 2 for our direct client based in DC. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner with excellent people skills.Job Details:Job Title: Assembler 2Location: Plymouth, MNDuration: 12 monthsBasic Qualifications (Mandatory):• High School Diploma or GED.• IPC J-STD-001 Certification.• 1-3 years of hand soldering or electronic assembly experience.• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in a team setting.Preferred Qualifications:• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.• 5+ years of hand soldering experience (inspection, rework/repair, tools).• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.• Experience with MES software.• Microsoft 365 proficiency.Key Responsibilities:• Perform assembly on electronic/mechanical components (modules, boards, panels, cables, frames, etc.).• Work from diagrams and drawings to complete assembly tasks.• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws.• Perform continuity checks on work-in-progress and completed assemblies.• Conduct quality inspections per specifications.• Disassemble, rework, modify, reassemble, and test assemblies as needed.Skills:
