Job Description Location: Encino / Tarzana, CASetting: Detox & Residential TreatmentSchedule: Full-Time | 8-hour shiftsShifts: AM/PM availabilityPay: $36–$39/hour (DOE) Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a detox and residential treatment program in the Encino/Tarzana area. This role is ideal for an LVN who is comfortable working with clients experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in a structured, supportive environment. Typical Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to clients in detox and residential levels of careMonitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and overall client stabilityAdminister medications and treatments as ordered by medical providersAccurately document nursing notes, medication administration, and client observations in KIPU EMRCommunicate effectively with the multidisciplinary treatment team regarding client status and concernsRespond appropriately to medical or psychiatric emergenciesEnsure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirementsSupport a therapeutic, respectful, and recovery-oriented environment QualificationsActive and unrestricted LVN license in the state of CaliforniaExperience in detox, residential treatment, behavioral health, or substance use treatment preferredFamiliarity with KIPU EMR strongly preferredAbility to work 12-hour shifts and function effectively in a fast-paced clinical settingStrong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills What We OfferCompetitive hourly pay ($36–$39/hr DOE)Full-time, consistent scheduleOpportunity to work in a mission-driven treatment environmentSupportive clinical and leadership team
