Key ResponsibilitiesDrive all contractor business in branchUphold proper Branch customer service standards, including greeting customers, answering phones promptly, and maintaining a friendly and service-oriented environmentProvide accurate and expert information; be responsive to the concerns of all Branch customers, including those under the account base of other sales personnelCustomer facing service and is the first point-of-contact between the client and EmserHave extensive product knowledge and overviewUnderstand and be able to explain Emsers brand identity, competitive differentiation, and product philosophyAssist customers at the counter alongside the Customer Support RepresentativeManage account selling activities by organizing account base into categories by prioritizing account activities by imminent sales potentialDevelop and implement plans for longer term sales cyclesPartner with Management through weekly sales meetings to identify goals and to determine an effective balance of account management activities.Participate in sample design and creation when neededProvide samples to trade accounts, referrals and walk-in clientele; partner with Branch Management on occasional needs to implement sample set-up per Company merchandising and marketing standards for small trade account requestsBuild sales in branch by explaining product knowledge to customers and identifying their needsQualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)3 plus years of sales and customer facing experienceStrong communication and writing skillsUphold professional appearanceAbility to build relationships with contractors in the branchUnderstand and decipher sales metrics and reportsInventory management experience with basic math test skills such as: cycle counts, pricing/margin, and quantity square feetComfortable in a fast-paced, high stress environmentJD Edwards experience (preferred, but not required)Working conditions (Branch/DC Positions)Work in enclosed offices, partially enclosed warehouse spacesBranch showroom where the Branch ISR will make sales calls, service calls and maintain product displays Work the day shift from Tuesday Saturday to support business needs.Physical Requirements (Branch/DC Positions)Stand, use hands, and reach with hands and armsWalk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlSit, climb or balanceLift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focusability to speak and hear; ability to visually detect product color and shading variationOccasional driving both in short and long distance trips for meetings/ training, client appointments in a personally owned vehicle and potentially a Company or rented delivery vehicle, at Managements directionroutine set up of samples and displaysability to operate sample making equipment.
