Early Childhood Classroom Assistant (Spanish Speaking)

Title: Montessori Spanish Speaking Early Childhood Classroom Assistant  Posting Date: April 28th, 2026 Closing Date: Applications will be accepted until the position is filled Position Begins: August 20th 2026 (Potential to start earlier depending on candidate)  Status: Part or Full time 7:30 - 1:30/4, 30-40 hours per week Compensation: $21 to $24 per hour with competitive benefits package  FLSA Category: Non-Exempt Reports to: Assistant Head of School  Lake Country School - Montessori (www.lakecountryschool.org) - a leader in understanding young people and supporting them to learn broadly and deeply as they grow and develop - seeks a Children’s House (ages 3-6) assistant M-F, for the academic school year (excluding school breaks). Duties include supervision of children, preparing and maintaining the classroom, hallway work area, outdoor activities, and contributing to building community and culture, Ability to use Spanish with children naturally and in every day interactions within a Montessori classroom, to foster language development and provide an environment rich in spoken language. Prior experience working in an early childhood environment required, experience working in a Montessori school or knowledge of Montessori education preferred.
