Our network serves over 1,400 students annually at our six campuses, located across the District, with a staff of over 250 dedicated individuals.ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver daily effective, differentiated instructionDemonstrate knowledge of resources, student needs, curriculum (AppleTree), content, and pedagogySet instructional outcomesAdminister student assessmentsCreate an environment of respect and rapportEstablish a culture of learningManage classroom procedures and student behaviorCommunicate directions, expectations, procedures, and content with studentsEngage students in learning with quality questioning and discussion techniquesDemonstrate flexibility and responsivenessUse student data to inform instruction and integrate differentiated instructionEngage parents and families in their child's academic success by fostering an ongoing relationship centered around hopes and dreamsMaintain accurate and up-to-date recordsParticipate in the Center City PCS learning community via PLCs, campus/district professional development, and weekly campus based grade-level planning sessionsReflect on teaching by accepting ongoing informal feedback and implement changes based on that feedbackFollow school-wide procedures for attire, behavior, and punctuality (teacher hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)Attend and participate in occasional school events outside of regular school hoursQualificationsHas a bachelor's degree in an applicable subject area, as appropriatePassing Praxis scoresMinimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferredDemonstrates ability to use data to assess student learning, with evidence of growthReferences that reflect high standing with past employerAble to lift up to 10 pounds and able to stand for long hoursJ-18808-Ljbffr
