Caregiver PositionWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Always Best Care Senior Services of Studio City. The Caregiver provides assistance and support to our clients in their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being. Our clients live in the following area: Valley Village, Burbank, Studio City, North Hollywood and surrounding areas.Benefits:Competitive compensation of $20-$21 per hour$20/hour for weekday shifts and $21/hour for weekend shiftsFlexible schedule options; AM/PM, Evenings, and WeekendsSick payHoliday payPaid training: initial and annuallyPaid OrientationReferral program. $150 for every caregiver you refer who we hire and who completes 100 hours of workMillage reimbursement is available when using your own car to transport clients or do grocery shopping/picking up medication for clientsOpportunities for career growth and advancementContinuing education and training programsSupportive and collaborative work environmentResponsibilities:Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care (diaper changing) and dressingProviding medication remindersPreparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictionsProvide light housekeepingAssisting with mobility and transferring clientsEnsuring a clean and safe environment for clientsEngaging in conversation and providing companionship to clientsMonitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisorSome clients require that caregivers go grocery shopping, pick up medication at the pharmacy or accompany seniors to their medical appointmentsRequirements:Previous experience as a Caregiver/Home Care Aid for at least one yearTwo references requiredAbility to communicate effectively with clientsPhysical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the roleReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseAbility to pass a background checkProof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear resultsAble to complete in-person orientation and online initial and annual caregiver trainingAbout the Company:Always Best Care Senior Services is a leading provider of in-home care services for seniors.
