Line Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and quality standards while adhering to food safety regulations. Duties - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food - Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently - Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Monitor food stock and place orders when needed - Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow Skills - Experience in food handling within a restaurant or catering environment - Knowledge of food safety practices - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting - Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus - Strong understanding of the food industry and fine dining standards Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.92 - $20.76 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Paid training Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Experience: Restaurant experience: 3 years (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: Brunswick, ME 04011 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Brunswick, ME 04011: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
