Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking a Warehouse Operator for our Elevator Equipment Corporation location, in Richmond, IN. Hyperion is constantly looking for talented, self-motivated, skilled team members to join our team. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high quality elevator components.
Primary Responsibilities:
Daytoday management of the EECO warehouse
Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting
Unload inbound containers and mark stock items using barcodes
Receive and count stock items, from either suppliers or vendors
Unpack items to be stocked on shelves and warehouse floor
Pack, seal, and label to prepare materials for shipping
Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy
Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with safety regulations
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and the physical upkeep of the warehouse
Ensure productivity objectives and processing time goals are met
Maintains a cooperative relationship with all departments while interfacing with Operations Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and Project Managers to answer questions or solve problems
Perform other related duties as assigned
Capabilities:

Identify tasks and provide daytoday assistance and informal guidance to Warehouse Operator 1 team members
Identify areas of improvement to establish, innovate, or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Take immediate action when confronted with a problem or when made aware of a situation
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
Complete most warehouse jobs independently, escalating only complex issues
Contributing to team success
Provides necessary resources or helps remove obstacles to help the team accomplish its goal.
Shares important or relevant information with the team regularly.
Fulfills team responsibilities; demonstrates personal commitment to the team.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2 years of warehouse experience preferred
Must be able to read a tape measure
Requires exercising good judgment
Requires attention to detail
Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
