Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position.QualificationsEducation and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to at least two years of treatment, security, or administrative support services involving direct contact with adult offenders at an adult correctional institution.Substitution of Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in Correctional Administration or Correction may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of one year.Substitution of Experience for Education: Additional experience in security, treatment, or administrative support services involving direct contact with adult offenders in a correctional setting may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of four years.OverviewAn employee in this class is responsible for managing offender housing units within a correctional facility. This work involves the supervision of security and non-security team members.
