QA Automation Analyst

Job TitleThis position will be responsible for testing the ESSA System that is a complex federal grant that is split between several funds that are used for different types of school, students, and/or instructional category. The duties of this position will require the worker to: test software produced by the ITS division; document issues found and report test status; perform advanced computer systems analysis work; work under minimal direction with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment; test TEA computer programs under the direction of a lead; and keep agency supervisor and management informed on issues and the status of work planned and completed by submitting weekly status reports. Position may require candidate to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as requested.MUST HAVE:7+ years' experience with the following:Full Software Development Life Cycle in an Object-Oriented framework where there is transitioning to agile development practicesExperienced and knowledgeable in use of test automation tools particularly Client UFT, WAPT PRO, and Client ALMDesigning, developing and implementing test plans, test cases, test scenarios and test reports, processes for web applications from Software Requirements Specification Documentation, and other specification documentsDatabase query tools such as Oracle PL/SQLFunctional, integration, performance, security, and regression testing2+ years' experience or testing knowledge of Microsoft.Net Framework and the following.Net languages: ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#.NET, or other OO software developmentNICE TO HAVE:2+ years' experience working in an Agile development environment planning and participating in sprints1+ year(s) experience testing TEA applications1+ year(s) experience in Crystal reports testing1+ year(s) experience with software change management and version management tools
