Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Water Quality Program Manager located in Salamanca, NY. The Water Quality Program Manager will develop, implement, and oversee programs aimed at monitoring and improving water quality on the Seneca Nation territories. The role involves conducting water quality testing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, writing reports, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The Water Quality Program Manager will also provide data analysis, identify areas for quality improvement, and implement effective management strategies. Qualifications Proven experience in Program Management, including planning, executing, and evaluating water quality initiativesStrong Analytical Skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data related to water qualityKnowledge of Quality Management principles, including Quality Control and Quality Assurance processesExcellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing, presentations, and stakeholder collaborationUnderstanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards related to water qualityBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)Prior experience in environmental management or water quality programs is a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site setting
