Job Title: Maitre'dJob Description:A high-volume restaurant group located in Midtown is seeking an experienced and polished Maitre'd to oversee guest service and dining experience. Restaurant experience is a MUST for this role.Duties and Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a high standard of hospitality.- Oversee the flow of the dining room, managing reservations and seating arrangements.- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service.- Handle guest complaints and issues, resolving them in a professional manner.- Maintain an updated knowledge of the menu, wine list, and specials.- Assist with training and supervising the front-of-house staff.- Manage VIP guests and special events to ensure an exceptional experience.Qualifications:- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Maitre'd or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant.- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and restaurant operations.- Ability to manage a busy dining room and multitask effectively.- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.- Restaurant industry experience is required.Benefits:- Competitive salary based on experience.- Health, dental, and vision insurance.- Opportunities for professional growth and leadership roles.
