Senior Software Engineer (Java + Python + CI/CD)

Position: Senior Software Engineer Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite) Type: Full-Time About the Role: You will be part of a team driving strategic technology initiatives across streaming, linear, and theatrical business channels. The team focuses on status aggregation, metadata processing, QC state tracking, and building a search platform for the content supply chain. Key Skills & Must-Haves:Strong experience with Java + Python (Scala a big plus)Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)Familiarity with cloud (AWS preferred), Docker, Git, and messaging systems (Kafka, Kinesis, SQS)Strong understanding of async programming, concurrency, and web standardsExcellent communication skills Nice to Have:Experience with Scala/functional programmingMedia domain experienceExperience integrating media players into web apps Interview Process:Initial screening callTechnical coding round (Hacker Rank - Java & Python)Final behavioral round This role requires candidates to be based in New York due to in-person team collaboration.
