Senior Tax & Estate Planning Cpa

Anthony J. Madonia & Associates, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Certified Public Accountant to join our established and respected practice. This full-time, on-site position will support the firm's attorneys and clients in matters involving estate planning, probate, trust administration, and tax-related strategies.The ideal candidate is a seasoned CPA with a minimum of 5 years of experience, comfortable working directly with clients and leading internal accounting support, while collaborating with attorneys on complex financial and planning matters. This individual will play a key role in both client service and internal team oversight.Responsibilities:Provide accounting and tax guidance related to estate planning, probate, and trust administration mattersPrepare and review fiduciary income tax returns, estate tax returns, and individual tax filingsAssist with trust and estate administration, including tracking assets, distributions, and reportingSupport attorneys and clients with financial analysis and planning strategiesAdvise on tax implications related to wealth transfer, inheritance, and long-term planningCollaborate with attorneys to develop comprehensive planning strategies for clientsMaintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable regulationsCommunicate clearly with clients, beneficiaries, and other professionalsOversee, mentor, and provide guidance to junior CPAs and accounting staffReview work product for accuracy, completeness, and complianceQualifications:Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in Illinois, or ability to obtain licensure in IllinoisMinimum of 5 years of experience in tax, accounting, or financial planningExperience working with estates, trusts, or high-net-worth clients strongly preferredProven ability to oversee, mentor, and manage other CPAs or accounting staffStrong understanding of tax regulations, fiduciary accounting, and financial reportingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsDemonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication and client service skillsAbout Company:Anthony J.
