SCADA Technician

Position Summary: SCADA Analyst with hands-on experience with GEO SCADA(formerly ClearSCADA) Wonderware or OASyS SCADA systems for the Upstream and Midstream Oil and Gas Industry Major Duties and Responsibilities: Provides support for SCADA team as instructed. Responsible for user interface design and development in GEO, Wonderware or OASyS SCADA. Candidate will be responsible for identification, analysis and development of SCADA software for integration with client systems. May also be required to assist a team in the development of software/programming for a SCADA platform based on GEO, Wonderware, or OASyS. Knowledge, Skills, abilities, and Other Personal Characteristics: Provides support for SCADA team as instructed. Responsible for user interface design and development in GEO, Wonderware, or OASyS. Candidate will be responsible for identification, analysis and development of SCADA software for integration with client systems. May also be required to assist a team in the development of software/programming for a SCADA platform based on Wonderware or OASyS. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with Windows programming experience. In lieu of a BS degree, 2-year technical degree and significant experience in Windows programming is acceptable. Minimum of 2 years of scripting/programming language experience (VBScript, .NET, C++ or C#) required Minimum of 2 years of SCADA user interface development experience required Achieved Wonderware System Platform Certification or other equivalent SCADA certification Experience with SQL and relational databases Excellent oral and written communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced and creative environment Attention to detail required Work Environment:The employee will work a Hybrid Schedule, 2 days in the office, 3 days remote(home), utilizing standard office and computing equipment. Standard work hours. If working remotely, the employee will be required to support video teleconferencing when applicable, as well as attend teleconference meetings originating in other time zones, which may occur outside normal working hours. The employee will interface with remote employees, requiring reliance on email and phone communications, as well as ability to maintain productivity while working autonomously.
