Required on-site 3 days per week (hybrid), but may be remote in MN depending on Mini med new office setup timing.Job Description: IT Project ManagerWe are seeking a IT Project Manager to work within the IT organization of a $3B medical device company and lead medium-to-large and complex technology projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget. This individual partners closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and vendor partners to deliver technology solutions that enable business objectives.Location: Northridge, CA, Duluth, GA, or Minneapolis, MNRequired on-site 3 days per week (hybrid)This role will work closely with our Quality Work stream to facilitate and drive small to medium sized projectsNote: Starting with a 6 month contract but likely option for contract extension and conversion to FTE. Required on-site 3 days per week (hybrid)Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryLead multiple IT projects simultaneously through all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure).Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.Ensure project documentation, communication, and governance compliance.Stakeholder & Communication ManagementPartner with business leaders to understand needs and ensure alignment with business strategy.Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive updates, and status reporting.Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams and external vendors.Team LeadershipCoordinate and lead project teams composed of IT, business, and vendor resources.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Project Managers or Business Analysts.Foster a collaborative, results-oriented team culture.Process & Continuous ImprovementContribute to the improvement of PMO methodologies, templates, and tools.Champion project management best practices and governance standards (PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid).Support organizational change management related to technology implementations.EducationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: 5-10 years of total professional experience, including 5 years of IT project management experience.Proven success managing large, enterprise-level IT projects ($1M+ budgets).Experience leading cross-functional teams across infrastructure, applications, or cloud initiatives.Strong understanding of IT development lifecycles (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).Certifications (preferred)Project Management Professional (PMP)Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP (for Agile environments)Skills & CompetenciesExcellent leadership, communication, organizational skills, attention to detailStrong financial acumen with experience in budget management and forecasting.Advanced proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow).Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.Performance MetricsDelivery of projects on time, on budget, and within scope.Business satisfaction and stakeholder engagement scores.Compliance with PMO governance and reporting standards.Achievement of defined business outcomes or benefits realization.
