The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. You will be provided the coaching and training needed throughout the onboarding and orientation process that will build from your base of skills acquired from your past experiences.If you are excited at the prospect of joining a high growth, technically relevant organization this may be the opportunity you.General Accountability:Reporting directly to the Assigned Supervisor, the Electronics Subassembler US will follow detailed assembly instructions to assemble modules and housings within the INDY Electronics department. Will also cross-train and support team members.Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Follow detailed assembly and sub-assembly instructions, processes and proceduresAssemble sub-assembliesAssemble modules: ECM-2, ECM-PTZ, AdEM-T, AdEM-PTZ, AdEC, etc.Assemble electronic housingsMay cross-train to perform variety of testing related to performance of Romet electronic productsMust be able to solder electronic/electrical components as per work instructionsMust be able to assemble cables and connectors as per drawings providedMust follow electronic assembly practices including ESD proceduresSelect stock/partsUse hand and air tools, safely and as prescribedFollow quality control practicesWear personal safety equipment as requiredMaintain 5S practicesRecord keeping as directed by SupervisorAny other duty as assigned by SupervisorHousekeeping as requiredSkills and Qualifications:Must have a minimum of 1 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environmentMust be mechanically and electronically inclinedMust be able to use various hand and air toolsMust be able to solderIPC training would be an assetStrong problem-solving skillsMust be a self-starter and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyPoses excellent organizational and analytical skillsGood communication skills both written and verbalEducational/Experience Requirements:Community College Certificate/Diploma or work experienceProblem solving and Root Cause Analysis training and experience consider an assetLean Manufacturing training and experience an assetRomet Limited is an equal opportunity employer which values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
