Full‑Time Hourly On‑Site Day Shift (5:00am–3:30pm Monday to Thursday, Overtime on Friday as needed)Join our team as a Material Handler I, where you’ll play a key role in keeping production moving by safely transporting materials to the assembly lines, supporting the weld, machine shop and fabrication teams, and maintaining an organized work environment.What You’ll DoLoad and unload materials onto pallets, racks, trays, and shelvesMove materials between storage areas, production lines, and designated work sitesCount, weigh, and document materials handledTag, label, or mark materials and containers for identificationStack, bundle, and band materials for storage or shipmentSafely operate hoists, forklifts (stand‑up and sit‑down), and other material‑handling equipmentLocate, stage, and distribute pallets and temporary storage containersEmpty cardboard bins into designated recycling and garbage containersConduct daily forklift inspectionsRead and interpret part tags to determine next operation and storage destinationsCommunicate clearly and professionally with leads, coworkers, and supervisorsHandle equipment carefully and maintain a safe, clean work environmentPerform additional duties as assignedMaintain regular and reliable attendanceWhat You’ll NeedAbility to pass the Multiquip Forklift CertificationHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to read and interpret safety rules, inventory tags, operating instructions, and procedure manualsBasic written communication skills for reports and routine documentationAbility to clearly communicate with teams and employeesStrong basic math skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentagesAbility to interpret bar graphs and follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructionsBasic computer skillsAbility to operate forklifts, hoists, and hand or air‑powered toolsAbility to problem‑solve using common-sense understanding in standard work situationsPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking throughout the shiftFrequent use of hands, arms, and manual dexterityOccasional stooping, kneeling, or crouchingAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to stand for 10 hours per day in a fast‑paced manufacturing environmentVisual abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perceptionExposure to chemicals such as gas, diesel, and related materialsWork environment may be loud; hearing protection is requiredCompensation and Benefits:Pay wage: $19.00 / hour 9 paid Holidays Generous Paid Time Off - Accrues at a rate of 4 weeks per year to startPaid Volunteer Time OffPaid Parental LeaveExcellent Benefits Package for Full Time Employees that starts the 1st of the month after 30 days of hire date including:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, Flex Spending, Accidental Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance & Legal InsuranceRetirement Planning - 401(k) plan including Discretionary Company MatchTuition Reimbursement up to $5,250 a yearEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Assistance Program Multiquip provides competitive pay and benefits and supports our employees through our values of safety, integrity and respect.Employment is subject to pre-employment physical, drug-screening and background investigation.
