Assistant Center SupervisorThe Assistant Center Supervisor will oversee aspects of management and operation of The Clays shooting center at Lone Oaks Farm. This position reports to The Clays at Lone Oaks Farm Center Supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Center Supervisor will oversee aspects of management and operation of The Clays shooting center at Lone Oaks Farm. This position reports to The Clays at Lone Oaks Farm Center Supervisor.
Duties include:
Responsible for the operation of the center when The Clays Center Supervisor is off-site or not on the work schedule.
Assist in keeping The Clays facility clean and ready for guests including physically demanding outdoor tasks maintaining the grounds, landscaping, and sporting clays equipment; and also cleaning the restrooms, kitchen, and pro shop.
Work with farm staff to secure needed equipment or supplies.
Assist the Center Supervisor in training, supervising, and scheduling part-time employees for daily operation, to include adjusting work schedules to ensure adequate staffing depending on anticipated needs.
Assume or reassign the role of any staff absent and/or unable to perform job functions.
Assist in the supervision and maintenance of equipment.
Assist in coordinating events and landscape maintenance with other staff at Lone Oaks Farm.
Special projects as assigned by The Clays Center Supervisor.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Management and logistics experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Knowledge of safety, range operations, and range SOP's.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Proficient with office technology.
Must have excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills.
Ability to deliver and carry out directives efficiently.
Must be hands-on to be able to perform equipment maintenance and repairs.
Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
Knowledge of firearms operations, safety, and range operations.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Retail and public relations experience.
Friendly and positive daily attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
Desire to learn new skills and accept responsibility.

UT market range: MR08
Anticipated hiring range: $41,475.52 - $49,770.63
